Pretty Lady asked:
I have my cat’s litter box in my bedroom and I’m just wondering if the fumes of her urine and poop can harm me. I’m not pregnant….I’m 17 yrs old. My room has two windows but sometimes it gets hot and when I forget to clean her litter it smells bad. I eventually clean it but I’m just curious as to if having the litter box in my room is not a good idea.

LM asked:
I have 3 cats, one male and 2 female. The Tortie has started on a habit of bringing more and more birds to the home. I scold her and tell her i am very unhappy with this and yet she still brings them home and not just to play with them. I am tired of this because the birds are generally babies and not even full grown. What can i do and is this bad for her health? Last night i heard her wheeze/hacking.

Lastly, he has these spaz attacks where its like he gets shocked and freaks out for no reason. FIV tests negative at 3 mo. Please help w/ any advice i love him so much and want to help him. He eats poops and plays fine. Acts like a normal kitty. hes 9mo. now.

Alex Glow asked:
I’m 35 weeks pregnant and my new roommate brought an old, mouse catching, angry cat with her when she moved in. I’m semi-allergic to cats as it is but I’m wondering if there’s anything I should really be worried about because I live in a small apartment but I’m not the one who cleans the litter and I avoid the cat as much as I can.

They are always caughing, I can’t imagine breathing cat poop all night is very good for you. What health problems can this cause them and maybe me?

Huguenot5 asked: My 1 year old, male tabby recently got a UTI. He was prescribed Clavamox. Within one week he could no longer urinate and at the animal hospital, crystals were found. he was catheterized and stayed in hospital for a few days. He was sent home today and he continues to take clavamox in combination with an anti-spasmoidal drug, and valium to relax him. He now eats Royal Canin Urine SO food to aid in diluting his urine and is getting increased amounts of water. However, he is still having trouble urinating.
He is now urinating a puss, and appears uite fatigued.
Does anyone know what can be done? I want to help him heal, but another trip to the animal hospital and re-catheterazation is really not something I wish to pursue.
Thanks in advance
Thanks to everyone for their help. One last question:
Could the pus be something that can be cleared by swithcing anit-biotiotics?

nightfire264 asked:
I have a 1 1/2 year old cat who has had the house to himself for a year. Recently, our new roommate brought a 5 month old cat along with him. At first, my cat didn’t like the other, but they seem to be getting along better now. My roommates girlfriend likes to bring her 4 month old kitten over often, and my cat is afraid of him. Whenever he is over, my cat growls and gets in a bad mood. Is it bad that she brings her cat over often? And could it affect my cats health by bringing the kitten over? My cat has been acting differently since the new cat has lived here, he is outside often and rarely comes in. Anything I should do to help things go back to how they were? Thanks!
