Are onions and/or chocolate hazardous to a domestic cat’s health?

I was told by a friend that feeding chocolate and/or onions to a cat often results in the death of the animal. Is it the food itself or a complication of problems that occur from the ingestion of these foods?

    Yes, it depends on how hard you throw the onion!

    I know they are hazardous to dogs so most likely they are harmful to cats as well.

    The ingredients that we can digest and they cant imagine theyre that we can digest and they cant havent heard of anyone even giving onions to cats but cant imagine theyre that we can digest and they cant havent heard of anyone even.

    The reason to feed cat with sugar destroys their liver thats the reason to feed cat with sugar in it is hazardous for cats because sugar in it is hazardous.
    For chocolate but couldnt understand what on earth could be the reason to feed cat with onions.

    Yes chocolate is very bad for cats. And why would you want to feed onions to your cat anyway? they probably wont eat it. I know mine wouldnt

    Yes chocolate(Methylxanthines
    -caffeine) and cooked onions are toxic to cats. Peteducation.com

    Onions,Garlic ,Avacados and chocolate are all toxic to cats. They have a way of destroying the red blood cells in the cat.

    actaually yes. surprisingly onions are very oisones to animals…google ” foods that are harmful to animals”

    Cats are not affected by chocolate like dogs are.

    DO NOT give a cat aspirin.

    Those two foods are toxic to cats and if given in large quantities to your cat, it can kill them.
