ive heard neutered male’s are more prone to kidney and urine tract infections
but i haven’t heard any bad things about females but just want to know all the facts i can before i go to the rescue centre.

    My female cat she just does not go into heat and has no kittens.

    Neutered males do have a very slightly higher risk of urinary tract issues. It’s not nearly as high a risk as not having him neutered. Cats of either sex who receive regular vet care and eat a high quality diet have a lower risk of developing health issues.

    For males as far as far as health if you feed dry food then there is no difference between the sexes as they will be prone to blockages.
