Okay our cat has been acting kinda werid lately like she will meow and hiss at us if we like kinda pet close to her back end, like if you pet her right above her tail, she will meow or hiss and like she is fixed and she isn’t pregnant, Do you guys have any idea what might be wrong, We were thinking that maybe she had something wrong with her tail or it was broken and we thought she might be constapated and that might be causing her to hurt down there? Do you guy have any Idea what this is?

P.S If she doen’t get better, yes we are going to take her to the vet, so please tell me what is wrong with her, not ‘You neeed to take her to the vet’

She isn’t an outdoor kittie but we do have 2 other cats and one some times likes to play a little ruff with her so it could be a bite?
They are also declawed

My cat receives monthly arthritis shots and has to have surgery on her teeth. The vet said they are causing her a lot of pain, which is probably causing her vomiting. Even with monthly shots, she starts limping after two weeks each time.

We are getting a new kitten, which yes, I am worried about, but I want one around in case our cat doesn’t live much longer for my kids.

Once a cat does get arthritis, can they live many years with this or does that decrease their life expentency at all? I just want to prepare my younger kids if she will only have a chance of living another couple years, rather than another 10.

Hello
I have a almost 17 year old cat. He started to vomit for few days last month and he lost alot of weight. Is now 2.3kg. Went to the vet did bloodtests but all is in its normal range. He than stoped eating for about 4 days. Now he also has runny eyes and now his nice coat is matted and his fur in the back is all greasy and he smells. He likes to sit on cardborad and I noticed staines on it today. We went 4 days ago to the vet and he gave us eyedrops-it works and he is on steroid. I am now concerned about his coat and he smells. (anal glands? The vet emtied them 4 days ago too) Please help me!!!!
