Pizda asked:
I have a cat who is about 15 years old. For the past few months, she’s starting to go to the bathroom on random places on the floor and throwing up nearly everything she eats. Is this because of old age? Should we get her put to sleep or just take her to the vet to see if something else is wrong?

I was wondering if feline aids is transfurable to humans when they scratch and break skin with the back claws.

Mary S asked:
My cat is a little over 2 years old. We thought he was acting funny bc of the 4th of July but he’s still acting the same way. I can’t get him to eat anything and as far as I know he won’t drink anything either. He stays hidden behind furniture sleeping all day and won’t come out hardly at all. I can’t even get him to play with his laser light that he loves to play with. Normally he will greet me when I walk in the door and he doesn’t do that anymore. Right now I can’t afford to take him to the vet bc my husband just recently started a truck driving job and I had to quit my job to stay home with our daughter. So right now we are a little low on money. Is there anything I can do or do I definitely need to take him to a vet?
I bought canned cat food for him. He licked the juice then walked off and went back to sleep. Then I was able to get him up again and he ate just a little bit. He acts like he’s weak and he feels warmer than usual.
He is an inside cat. He never goes outside due to the fact that I don’t want him bringing fleas home bc I have another cat.

Pretty Lady asked:
I have my cat’s litter box in my bedroom and I’m just wondering if the fumes of her urine and poop can harm me. I’m not pregnant….I’m 17 yrs old. My room has two windows but sometimes it gets hot and when I forget to clean her litter it smells bad. I eventually clean it but I’m just curious as to if having the litter box in my room is not a good idea.

I’m 35 weeks pregnant and my new roommate brought an old, mouse catching, angry cat with her when she moved in. I’m semi-allergic to cats as it is but I’m wondering if there’s anything I should really be worried about because I live in a small apartment but I’m not the one who cleans the litter and I avoid the cat as much as I can.

They are always caughing, I can’t imagine breathing cat poop all night is very good for you. What health problems can this cause them and maybe me?

zahiralzahir asked:
My five-year-old is a huge animal lover, so when he came across a street cat he was more than happy to carry it around and play with it for a while. I found out about it only as he tried to sneak it into his bedroom. He has seen this cat again and insists on playing with it. Well, now I, overreacting parent that I am, wonder what the chances are of him getting sick from this cat. Also, needless to say, he now wants us to own a cat (we already own a dog), but I’m not at all familiar with the hygiene issues involved. Could this cat make him sick? Is a cat a convenient (health-wise) pet for a kid?
