Cat Health Question?

My neighbor has a cat and she told us today (7/9/08) that her cats fur as been falling off on her nose and its turning pink. She says it could be Eczema, but I don’t know if cats could get that. I told her that I can look up some information that might has to do with this situation. If you are experienced cat owners or vet, could you please give me some information that has to do with her cat. Her cat is a female tabby (Black and White) with hazel eyes.
The cat does not have any bugs at all its just her nose and she doesn’t scratch that much.
She rarely goes outside and she stays inside. She doesn’t dig up things or play in dirt.
