Carolyn asked:

We have an aging male neutered cat who we adopted as a stray yrs ago. He is a diabetic & gets 2cc insulin twice/day. He also gets a strict diet of Feline DM, which is a canned cat food for diabetics. In Jan he showed noticable weight loss & lethargy & when we took him to the vet his intestines had to be manually cleaned out as he was not fully cleaning out. It cost us about $600. Now he is showing signs of the same problem, even tho he now gets a kitty laxitive. Does anyone know of a home remedy we could try to help him? We are far from rich & cannot afford to spend $600 every couple months to get him cleaned out. Thanks, J&C & Sam(the patient)

kunoichi asked:

My neighbors found this cute little kitten and I went to go hold it. The next day they took it to the doctor to get it checked out and they said it had a lung disease and could have rabies. Then i just remembered that the other day when i held this cat I held my cat right after and didnt wash my hands. This morning my cat wasnt acting quite normal and it was two days ago that this happened. What are the signs of my cat being sick? she seemed kind of lazy today and he eyes are a bit droopy. please help
I ALSO HAVE A COUGH AND THIS KITTEN HAD TO BE PUT TO SLEEP

signs of Arthritis? I have an 9 year old cat. He has gone thru alot of his “lives” already, even only has one eye. He doesn’t jump up on counter tops anymore and doesn’t like me touching his hind legs anymore. Anyone have cats that stopped jumping at an old age…how long after did your cat pass after he or she stopped jumping up on furniture?

Can having an indoor only cat be hazardous to her health?

Billy Bob Dingleberry asked:

my cat is so friendly and niave because of it’s indoor life. It got too close to a neighbor dog and it bit her tail. It got infected, so some of the tail will have to be amputated. (Signs didn’t show until too late). but O.T.T, she’s fine.
My daughter brought her outside, so that’s why she ended up out. Should i start supervising outdoor time for the cat or what’s the best thing 4 her?
